Two years ago, in the charming streets of Old Town Alexandria, Bob & Annie began their greatest adventure together. 🤍 From the elegant celebration at the Hummingbird to the laughter, happy tears, and unforgettable moments shared with family and friends, their wedding day was nothing short of magical.

🌸✨ Aleaha & Neel at the Tidal Basin during cherry blossom season — a session that felt just as joyful and effortless as their love story.

When I asked what they love doing together, their answer was simple: talking. Their favorite phrase is, “This is random, but…” — and honestly, that says everything about a relationship built on endless curiosity and companionship.

As we wandered among the cherry blossoms, it was easy to see why these two are so excited for their wedding day. The ceremony is what they are looking forward to most, surrounded by the families they love so deeply. ❤️

✨ There are so many new faces here lately, so I thought it might be time to properly introduce myself. Hi! I’m Barbora 🤍

I’m the photographer behind Barbora Jones Photography, and I have the incredible privilege of documenting some of life's most meaningful moments—weddings, engagements, growing families, newborns, anniversaries, and all the beautiful milestones in between.

Photography has never been just about taking pictures for me. It's about people.

I genuinely care about every couple and family I work with. I celebrate your wins, cry during your vows, get excited about your engagement stories, and feel honored every single time someone trusts me to document a chapter of their life. The photos matter, of course—but so does the experience.

Clients often tell me that I bring a calm presence to their day. I think that's because I'm a mix of two things that don't always seem to go together: a strong personality and a soft heart. My images are romantic, timeless, and full of emotion, but behind the camera I'm also the person fixing veils, adjusting timelines, organizing family photos, calming nerves, and making sure everything keeps moving when the unexpected happens.

One of my friends recently told me:
"You have a strong presence, but your work feels gentle and romantic. I would trust you with my wedding completely because even if a volcano erupted behind us, you'd figure it out and still get the photos."

Honestly? That might be one of the nicest compliments I've ever received. 😂

🤍 I'm a proud mom to two amazing daughters, Charlotte and Dorothy, who inspire me every day.

🤍 I love dancing, traveling, outdoor adventures, and spending time with friends.

Effortless beauty and timeless moments at Birkby House ✨

Rebecca & Erick’s wedding day was filled with so much warmth, happiness, and genuine love. Their story began on Hinge back in 2018, and after years of growing together — alongside their sweet dog Koda 🐾 — they finally celebrated the beginning of this next chapter surrounded by the people who matter most.

There was something so natural and heartfelt about their entire day. Every detail felt meaningful, relaxed, and completely true to who they are as a couple.

And Birkby House 🤍 truly provided the perfect setting — from the beautiful bridal and groom suites, to the charming courtyard and terrace, to the stunning new reception space that brings such an elegant touch to the venue.

Rebecca & Erick, the life you’ve created together is absolutely beautiful, and it was such an honor to document it.

I’m so excited to officially share that Barbora Jones Photography LLC is now a Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) in Washington, DC through the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development 🎉

As a small business owner and photographer, this journey has involved so much hard work behind the scenes — building my business from the ground up, balancing motherhood, photographing weddings and events nonstop, and learning the business side of entrepreneurship along the way.

Being officially certified feels incredibly meaningful and validating.

I’m so grateful to every couple, family, planner, venue, organization, and client who has trusted me to document their memories over the years. Your support has helped me build this business into what it is today 🤍
