Letās take a moment to talk a bit more about the story behind these flowers š·
The Venues at Clover Hill is an up and coming event venue, but first and foremost it serves as a honeybee farm. The owners invite K-5 kids to come learn about the beauty and value of honeybees and teach them to become good stewards of nature š„¹. May, Danās long-term partner and co-owner of the Venues at Clover Hill, has extensive floristry experience and keeps the wildflower fields healthy and full for their bee colonies. Many of the flowers in this field have a bigger purpose than just looking pretty!
But even more impressive, May grew almost all of the flowers for Hannah and Tylerās wedding on the property. The seasons best blooms were chosen for the ceremony installation, ceremony entrance installation, aisle baskets, the reception tent installation, cocktail and reception table centerpieces, for , and for the bouquets and boutonniĆØres. This doesnāt happen often, but it was awesome to witness the generosity, care, and attention that Dan and May provide.
The lawn and garden are amazing event spaces already, and Iām excited to see how the barn turns out when their renovations are done. Such a hidden gem in Nokesville, and itās managed by two incredible people! I will probably write a longer blog post about this place soon because I canāt say enough for a Instagram caption š
