When the dog agrees that you’ve found the right person. (good girl, Autumn!!)

So different than my “normal” DC session, we had such an incredible time exploring for H+R’s engagement session! We leaned into our shared love for the outdoors, horses, and animals, and laughed the entire time! Looking forward to their autumn wedding amongst the changing leaves.

Getting ready with L and the girls… I honestly wish every bride on their wedding day can experience the warmth, joy, and friendship I witnessed here. ☀️ I’m unsure what shined brighter, the sun coming through the converted firehouse windows? Or their smiles!

Something a bit different for the feed today…. But it’s International Dance Day, so I couldn’t resist!

Here’s to all the kids giving their all... Whether you’re working in the studio, waiting in the wings, or wowing the audience, know that dance will never leave you - it’s a lifelong joy and a true gift! A gift you give to others, and a gift you for to yourself.

Dance has always been a huge part of my life, so it was such a joy to photograph and their production of The Nutcracker this past winter! Wishing you a successful end to your competition & recital season.

I’m attending an event next week where the dress code is “butter yellow” (I’m looking at you, !) and while planning my outfit, my brain keeps going back to these gorgeous yellow gowns. They photographed as well during formals as they did on the dance floor. Yellow I love you. 💛
