Excuse the lack of photos lately but an exciting new adventure is on the horizon…

Have you heard?! The soft opening of Bird City Records is on Saturday 4/23! Located in downtown La Plata- 6 St. Mary’s Ave # 100A.

While our soft opening happens to be on Record Store Day this year, we unfortunately missed the cutoff to sign up as a RSD recognized store this go around. Which means we won't have those exclusive titles in stock. However, we should be there by November's Black Friday RSD!

We are so stoked to see you all there!

Zine updates! The Folkhaus and I have decided to make the Wreckage series an annual zine vs. biannual, to allow for both of us to work on other zines and creative projects individually in between! We got together yesterday to work on edits for Wreckage 2, we should have those ready for release by the summer!

Now, a new call for art! Wreckage 3, the theme is global ties. What makes you feel connected to people you've never met in countries you've never been to? Accepting short essays, poems, photos, and traditional art, anything that can be sent to us digitally.

We wanted to get the gears turning, we're excited to see what you've got! We'll open up the submission link in August and accept entries until the due date of October 1. 🖤

These last several weeks have been surreal. Really, the last few years. All my life, I have been obsessed with music and often felt like a weirdo about it. Playing an instrument has never come easy for me. I just knew I wanted to be in that world, somehow. Since 2015, I’ve had one creative side hustle or another- podcasting led to merch/roadie adventuring with my pals in , which led to picking up a camera, which connected to zine making, all of which have helped me to network with people that are just as passionate as I am about music. It’s the air we breathe. I believe that points come together the way they’re supposed to. The pieces have fallen where I always dreamed they would. Whether you gave me a chance to interview you, stepped in front of my lens or showed your support of my ventures here, or for the newest/most exciting endeavor I’m on board with, — know how much I truly appreciate it. 🖤

Hello, all! An update for you— Wreckage 2 (again working with the amazing The Folkhaus) should be out this summer. This Zine Goes to 11 and Wreckage 1 are still available on my Etsy along with a handful of prints.
