A few things I’ve learned as I gotten older are:
1. Don’t pity, pivot
2. Celebrate those that show up for you
3. Enjoy life while you can
4. Value time with your friends

After finding out a private chef dinner that I won had to be canceled due to the business shutting down. Instead of canceling, I pivoted.

Invites had already been sent, anticipation for the experience for me with back and forth on menus etc already happened.

So, instead I talked to my amazing wife and expressed my frustration and that I was going to cancel the dinner. But realizing how challenging it can be getting all of us together she said nope! I’ll cook!

She planned the menu, we shopped, we decorated and we set a mood for an evening that I didn’t even know I needed.

Special shout out to .stylez who also pulled me out of the funk and gave me ideas, decorations and forced me to thinking of colors and themes. It was perfect!

To my boos that came and laughed and talked and shared and connected. Thank y’all!

As I finished the planning I wanted to do something special them. All of the ladies have supported my photography business over the years. My love language is photos. So I gifted them all my fave picture that I have taken with them individually over the years, framed. Just a little reminder that I appreciate them and the memories we’ve shared.
