Comet with a side of noctilucent clouds...

Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS setting over Greenwich Bay viewed from Oakland Beach on Oct 12. The comet was very faintly visible to the unaided eye (much less so than in this single long exposure image - 2.5s at f/1.4)

This image was taken at 7:10 pm, about an hour after the sun dropped below the horizon. Over the next few evenings, the comet will be progressively a few degrees higher at sunset as it moves away from the sun, making for potentially easier viewing against an increasingly darker sky (but the comet will also grow dimmer).
