Don’t forget to find those old video tapes when you are Spring Cleaning!

If you aren’t ready to transfer your old tapes yet be sure they are stored in a properly controlled environment. This is what happens when they are stored in a humid space such as a basement. Mold and mildew will grow on the tapes. Once this happens the chances are low for restoration. Silica packs are great for moisture absorption.
