One L Photography Weddings. Parties. Portraits. I photograph LIFE. Please visit my website. www.OneLPhotography.com For as long as I can remember, I have always loved THINGS.

I don’t mean in a materialistic way, I mean in a way where I hold a strong sentimental attachment to objects that a lot of people would consider junk. I’m actually dumbfounded at the way most people look at things as just THINGS. Childhood toys, that embarrassing prom dress, obnoxious costume jewelry passed down from Grandma – the idea of donating or throwing that stuff away actually makes my hear

t sad. To me, these objects – these THINGS – each represent a tiny little fleeting moment in my life that I can never get back. It’s like that time when you were helping your parents clean out the attic of the house you grew up in and you found the torso-less bottom half of your little brother’s favorite GI Joe – Pathfinder (Jungle Assault Specialist). If you had somehow overlooked it and the new family moving in had found it, they would have simply looked at it as a piece of trash and thrown it away. When YOU find it, however, you immediately find yourself right back in 1992 looking at the devastated look on your brother’s face, praying to god he doesn’t start crying, all while formulating a story in your head that you are going to try and sell to your mom which ends with you NOT being in trouble. That is a moment you might have forgotten had it not been for finding that silly little piece of plastic, but also a moment you never want to let go of. THAT feeling is what I aim to create with every one of my photographs. It is often not through the standard, traditional poses you might have expected (we will still do those, too), but instead the fleeting moments of your life you might have tragically forgotten had I not been the voice behind the camera. These moments might take place at your wedding, a family party, a sporting event – anywhere you find yourself interacting with people you love, creating little pieces of awesome that you never want to let go of. No matter what the occasion, I will be there to save these moments from extinction and I will do so in the same bold, colorful way in which you experienced them firsthand.

We started on March 29, 2025 when I took over Jim’s long-standing every-three-Saturdays appointment. I gave him the list of which flowers were mandatory from the talking flower garden in Disney’s 1951 Classic, Alice in Wonderland, and stressed that I need FULL color with a good representation of all the colors of the rainbow. I wanted it to be accurate to the movie with the exception of a little crossbones necklace hanging from Bud’s neck - a nod at how I call JJ Bud Bones. Alice could be included or not - I didn’t care. And from there, he got to run with it… I never knew which flower was going where or coming next and somehow I loved each one more than the last. Brian has been tattooing me since August 2012 but this was the first time I really gave him something besides font to work with and I love it so much!

Everyone go follow him… At the beginning of the year he opened up HIS OWN studio. It’s amazing, he’s amazing… you won’t regret any of it!

Wildwood 2026 was a massive success. My phone was covered in sunscreen all week so most of our daily/nightly pics look like they were either taken with a potato or that my phone has astigmatism. Trust that our coordination was fire and we had a perfect week!

So anyone who has ever gone out with me for karaoke probably knows my Top 2 go-to jams are We Didn’t Start The Fire and It’s The End Of The World - to say I’m NOT a skilled vocalist is a gross understatement. What I AM skilled at is being able to memorize and recite complicated lyrics without even looking at the monitor. My kids get a lot of in-car performances that never seemed to impress them much.

THEN… a couple weeks ago, JJ asked me if I would teach him the words to We Didn’t Start The Fire. SHUT THE FRONT DOOR, my guy! HELL YES. So we got to work.

I told him we would go verse by verse, only moving on to the next when we’ve perfected the former. And proper enunciation and pronunciation are mandatory. I explained the basis of the song and that everything mentioned is part of history. I’m not going to force any of it on him and there’s a lot of things I don’t actually know much about but the offer stands to research anything in the song that piques his interest whether it’s me teaching him or us learning together. So whenever we have a couple minutes of downtime - waiting for the bus in the morning, riding in the car, etc - we recite the first verse, through Marilyn Monroe.

Today, for the first time, I got to hear him sing that verse with the song and then recite it with no music with ZERO help from me. My heart grew at least 3 sizes… and it’s now time to move on to Rosenbergs, H-Bomb.

I’ve always said that 7 years old is my favorite stage of childhood and this right here is the proof in that pudding. THIS is the JJ I’ll be hashtag take me backing to. He may end up getting outshone by 8 year old JJ but, man, is this guy my favorite version yet. 🥰

I am a major recluse from social media posting these days but this needs a place in Memories!

I present to you our first ever Christmas Card! Next year maybe I’ll even introduce them to my guys at the USPS (we’ll see).
🎄
It’s become a tradition to do full family trips to the flower and tree farms with and her squad when I do their photos that the kids love so much! This year, I had an idea. We all came fully dressed for photos too and Meredith snagged group shots for us that I could not be more obsessed with. Obvs I love when clients become besties… but when those besties then turn into my family photog it’s an even bigger gift!!
🎄
I hope you all have a smooth slide into Christmas… we are without internet until Monday because I tree took out our wires during the wind storm yesterday… so pretend I had something more clever and festive to say. 🥴🫠🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🎅🏼🎄🤶🏻🎁

So, I’m sitting here pumping out Tree Farm galleries and just remembered I haven’t taken to social media in quite awhile - so much for getting back on the horse, right?! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyway… I *meant* to share from this particular session like 3 weeks ago, while I was sitting at , getting my sleeve worked on by the mask-wearing husband in these very photos.

At one of my earlier sleeve appts months ago, .garber mentioned to me that he and his stupidly photogenic wife had talked about doing a horror themed session.

Props?! 🔪 YES. Outfit changes?! 👻 F**K YES. These two brought ALL the greatness and I couldn’t fully move into the holiday season without sharing some of it.

As far as the background music, IG suggested this audio and it just felt right. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤔

And don’t forget - if you’re looking for the sickest tattoo artist around (have you SEEN both of ’s completed sleeves and mine that is under construction?!) - go check out .garber, owner of ! 😻🌈🎨🖤🤯🔥🙌🏼

Four years since, while already legal, we stood on a beach in our favorite place and had it blessed by Rev .real.newbod.

I wish we could relive that week/night over and over again… but since we can’t, I’m so glad he’s the one I get to live all the other moments with!

Happy anniversary, Mr. Granja! (4 years is the Nerds Gummy Clusters + kid-chosen board games anniversary. Everyone knows that!)

So it’s no secret to anyone who knows me that I am a TOUGH CROWD when it comes to [Wedding] DJs. (We can all thank for that. No apologies.) So when Chrissy told me she had booked of , I was over the moon (he was my recommendation)! What might be a less well-known fact about me is that there are few things I love more, at any reception, than a crowd who fiercely percolates because it always translates to the photos very clearly what song was on and I get a really big kick out of that. 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️🤓

So the dance floor at Chrissy + Isaiah’s reception was fire all night… song after song you’d have thought I personally requested. I suddenly had a feeling. I just felt it in my bones that Chrissy’s one bridesmaid, Tara, was probably a mean percolator… and I suspected the rest of the crew was also ‘bout that life . So I let Brian know what I was thinking and went back about my business. The reaction that came from Tara when that first note hit will go down in history as one of my greatest wedding victories ever.

See for yourself… it was magical. ✨💃🏼
