I am Gillian Brooks, a British ex-pat who has lived in the Chicago suburb of Naperville for 8 eye catching winters! I'm sure there were other seasons in between but its definitely the Winters that have made the biggest impression on me! Suddenly transported to a world I did not know, using my Sony mirrorless Alpha camera I began to enthusiastically photograph everything remarkably foreign and amu

sing to me. Since then I have taken a variety of photography classes and been mentored by some talented photographers to improve my skills and visually share my view of America filled with humor and amazement. I would love the opportunity to photograph your special occasion whether it be a wedding, birthday, engagement, Christmas card picture, sporting event or simply to record a phase in your life which you will look back on in years to come and think 'Thank goodness that's over!' or 'Aaaah - do you remember this?'
