It's been quieter than usual around here, and I wanted to take a moment to share why - and to say thank you for your patience with me.

As you all know, last September, my mother-in-law Christa ("Gigi" to my boys) passed away at just 56 years old after battling ALS for just under a year.

Then, just a couple months ago in May, my father-in-law Darin was diagnosed with a stage IV butterfly glioblastoma. Unfortunately, he passed away in June at just 54 years old. Many of you may not have met Darin directly, but if you've been to my studio, you've felt his hands in it - he did so much of the handy work helping me build it. And at every Santa event and session, he was right there helping set up and tear down, hanging out with Colby and the kids so I could focus on work. He was steady, hardworking, and endlessly willing to help.

They were both the best Gigi and Pop to my boys - Brayden (7), Grayson (almost 5), and Declan (1) - and they are so deeply missed.

We spent the last couple of months out of town caring for him and spending as much time with him as we could. Since his passing, we've been traveling back and forth to his home in Maryland, handling their estate.

It's been a heavy season for our family, and it slowed my work down more than I expected. I'm home now and working through everything as quickly as I can, and I'm so grateful for everyone's understanding.

On a happier note - we've understandably had lots of questions about our 2026 Santa season since we always launch registration mid July. I'm excited to share that Santa Bob will be returning for our 2026 Santa season! Our dates are 11/6-11/8 and 11/13-11/15, so save the date if you'd like to join us. Registration will open for 2025 elf pass holders on 7/20, and for our Nice List (email list) on 7/21.
