šµ āLearning to Believe in Meā šµ
By Leslie Lau
Iāve been walking with my head down, Counting every flaw I see. Trying hard to earn the sunlight, Like it wasnāt made for me.
Iāve been praying for a breakthrough, but Iām scared of what Iāll findāāCause grace feels like a foreign language To a selfādoubting mind.
But Iām tired of shrinking back, Tired of feeling less than whole. Maybe worth was never something I was meant to chase at all. So Iām learning to believe in me, Even when the mirror disagrees. Learning I was loved before I ever learned to breathe. Iām letting go of all the lies
That told me who I couldnāt be. Step by step, Iām finding out What it means to feel worthy.
Iāve been holding onto stories That were never really mine. Letting shadows write my chapters, Letting fear control the lines. But thereās a whisper in the quiet,Saying, āChild, youāre enough.ā And Iām slowly starting to trust itā
Even when the days get tough. Iām done apologizing For the way my heart was made.
If healing is a journey, Then Iām walking it by faith.āCause Iām learning to believe in me, Even when the mirror disagrees. Learning I was loved before I ever learned to breathe.
Iām letting go of all the lies
That told me who I couldnāt be.
Step by step, Iām finding out
What it means to feel worthy.
Maybe worth is in the waiting,
In the breaking, in the climb.
Maybe Godās been calling me
Worthy this whole time. So Iāll lift my eyes a little higher, Let His truth rewrite my nameā
Iām not perfect, but Iām chosen,
And Iām loved without restraint.
Now Iām learning to believe in me, Even when the mirror disagrees. Learning I was loved before I ever learned to breathe.
Iām letting go of all the lies
That told me who I couldnāt be.
Step by step, Iām finding out
What it means to feel worthyā
Yeah, Iām finally feeling worthy.
