Being married is like... signing up for a lifelong adventure with your best friend ♥. Some days it's laughter and chaos (hello, messy kitchen and unfolded laundry), others it's quiet routines and inside jokes. It’s the weird, beautiful thing where two messy humans become a team. You brawl, you make up, you build a life – and somehow, it gets sweeter. Whether it’s 5 months or 50 years, marriage is like looking at someone and going, “Yep, I still picked you.” 😊

The newborn stage is full of those tiny, stolen moments that leave you breathless. It’s the way they snuggle into your chest, their tiny hand wrapped around your finger, and just... sigh. The world melts away, and it’s just you, them, and the quiet. No noise, no stress, no to-do lists – just the rise and fall of their little chest. Finding your person is like finally exhaling after holding your breath for way too long. It’s not about losing yourself in someone else, but about finding someone who makes you feel more you. The kind of person who laughs at your jokes (even the bad ones), who knows your weirds and loves them too. Who shows up, even when it’s messy. It’s that feeling of “okay, I can breathe now.”

We already know that motherhood is not all sunshine and rainbows. We've all seen the posts telling us why its not perfect.
But here's what I'm learning: we tend to rush through the hard parts. The tantrums in the grocery store, the 3am wakeups, the endless pile of dishes while a tiny human clings to your leg, the meltdown over the wrong color cup.
We wish them away because they're heavy in the moment. Then one day they're gone and you realize those were the moments shaping both of you.
It's true what they say about how the nights are long but the years are short. I don't want to blink and lose the details so I'm trying to notice the middle of it. The chaos and the cuddles. Because someday, I know I'll miss the version of us that only exists right now. Even the messy parts.

The newborn days pass too quickly.
The milk-drunk sighs. The way their fingers wrap around yours and don’t let go. That new-baby smell you swear you’ll never forget.
No one tells you how fast you’ll miss this exact version of them.
The 2am feeds where it’s just us. The tiny sounds they make in their sleep. How their whole body fits on your chest.
They’ll never be this small again.
They won’t stay this little.
Not the wrinkled feet. Not the way they scrunch their nose before crying. Not the 4am cuddles I complain about but secretly love.
Holding onto the details, because newborns don’t keep.
