Today I had the honor of photographing an incredible friend and her beautiful family.

Around school, she’s known as Mama Bain, and if you’ve ever met her, you know the name couldn’t be more fitting. She has a heart for everyone she meets, making each person feel seen, welcomed, and like family.

Today, it was her family’s turn to be in front of the camera. It was such a joy to capture the love, laughter, and genuine connection they share.

Thank you, Mama Bain, for trusting me with these memories. It was truly an honor. ❤️

I caught myself standing in the hallway today during senior walk-through, watching everything unfold… and then I saw it.

Not because it was “my photo,” but because it had become part of someone’s story—part of a moment their family will never forget.

📸 Some sessions are about photos.

Others are about memories.

Today I have the privilege of helping a teacher create end-of-year gifts for her students, and this one is pulling at my heartstrings.

Because long after the school year ends, the lessons, laughter, encouragement, and love these children received will stay with them.

There’s something incredibly special about capturing a moment that says, “You mattered. I saw you. I’ll remember you.”

Because sometimes the most meaningful photographs aren’t the ones we hang on a wall.

They’re the ones that remind us we made a difference.

And this teacher certainly did. ❤️📸✨

One day, this won’t be “just another picture.”

It’ll be the one you come back to—
the one that still makes you pause…
because somehow, it held everything you will never want to forget.

The way her hand fit in yours.
The way she looked at you like you were her whole world.
The quiet, in-between moment that said more than words ever could.

This session will always be one of my favorites 🤍
