The rest of their day was spent exactly how it should be surrounded by their favorite people, soaking up every hug, laugh, happy tears, and dancing!

No rushing through it. No worrying about getting the “perfect” photo. Just two people who were completely present, wildly in love, and having the damn time of their lives.

And THIS is why I’m always telling my couples:
Be present. Love hard. Laugh a lot. And please enjoy your damn wedding. Because the best photos happen when you stop worrying about the photos and just live your freaking day.

They understood the assignment: actually enjoy your damn wedding 🩵

They slowed down. Soaked it all in. Hugged their people a little longer, laughed, spent time with the family + friends they love most, and were fully there for every damn second of it.

And then golden hour showed OFF. The kind of sunset that makes you sneak away for a few minutes, breathe it all in together, and realize... holy s**t, we're married.

This is what I want for every one of my couples.
Not a wedding day that feels like one long photoshoot. A wedding day that feels like YOUR wedding day.

Be present. Love hard. Party with your people.
Chase the sunset. I'll take care of remembering it all.

Nothing felt forced. Nothing needed to be perfect. It was emotional, loud, joyful, and completely Sarah & Kyle! ⁣

Blue skies. Perfect weather. A ceremony tucked beside the lake. And a sunset that showed off like it knew it was being photographed. But the scenery was only part of what made this day so damn good.⁣

Rachel & Ryan’s emotional first look. Private vows. The kind of love that makes photographing two people feel ridiculously easy because they’re so completely wrapped up in each other. Their family and wedding party brought SO much energy and support and welcomed me with open arms from the moment I arrived. I never felt like an outsider; I felt like I was part of it.⁣

And that’s my favorite kind of wedding day.⁣
The kind where there’s no forcing moments. No performing for the camera. Just two people wildly in love, surrounded by their people, fully present in it all.⁣
