High school sweethearts → HUSBAND + WIFE 🥹😭 I mean COME ONNNN… these are the love stories that get me every single time!

There’s something so special about watching two people who practically grew up together stand before God and promise to keep choosing each other for the rest of their lives. 🤍

And apparently God said, “We’re adding a little water to this blessing.” 😂☔️ Because when I tell you it RAINED at Pleasantly Devine… it RAINED.

But the rain wasn’t stopping us!

We found the most perfect little tree line that became our God-made natural umbrella 🌳☔️ and somehow, tucked underneath those trees with the rain falling around them, we created some of my absolute favorite images.

And THIS is where I will always go above and beyond for my couples. If your hair needs fixing, I’m fixing it! If your dress needs carrying, I’ve got it! If the timeline goes sideways, we pivot! If it starts pouring during portraits, we’re finding some trees and making MAGIC. 😂🤍

Because I’m not just showing up with cameras. I’m showing up for YOU!

Wedding days aren’t about everything going perfectly. They’re about trusting that even when things don’t happen exactly how we pictured them, God already knew how the day would unfold. And sometimes His version ends up even more beautiful than ours. 🙏🏼

Tony + Annie 🤍

Some sessions mean more than just taking pretty pictures. This was one of them!

I met Tony back in 2023, never knowing that day I was gaining someone I would eventually consider a brother. Somewhere along the way, we became business partners, taking on this crazy wedding industry side by side. Me behind the photography and him behind the videography, building something together that I’m incredibly proud of!

Then Miss Annie came along 🩷 and watching their relationship grow has been something so special.

Annie, you’ve brought such a beautiful softness into Tony’s life. Patience, kindness, growth and, most importantly, a stronger relationship with God. I truly believe He knew exactly what He was doing when He brought the two of you together.

Photographing their engagement session wasn’t just another session for me. I got to photograph someone I consider a brother with the woman he gets to build his life with. 🥹

And it was even more special doing it at , the beautiful farm and venue of our dear friends Kelly and Bill, who have become family to so many of us. With my other brother from another .hrbek_weddings shooting alongside me and the amazing Eliza from capturing content, we were surrounded by our people, and that made this night even better. 🤍

The fields, the laughter, the dancing, the truck headlights and, of course, the duck who needed his moment 😂🦆 It was perfectly THEM.

Tony & Annie, I cannot wait to watch your love, faith and life together continue to grow. Always choose each other, keep God at the center, and never stop being each other’s safe place. 🤍

Some wedding days you photograph.
Some wedding days you feel.

This was one of those days. 🤍

The laughter, the nerves, the way they looked at each other when no one else was paying attention, the people surrounding them with so much love… all the little pieces that made this day theirs.

Photography freezes those moments, but there is something so special about getting to watch them move again. Hearing the voices. Seeing the tears fall. Watching the laughter happen all over again.

This is why I love when my couples choose photo and film. One day, this won’t just be their wedding video — it’ll be the sound of voices they miss, the way their people danced, the way they held each other, and a chance to step back into one of the best days of their lives. 🥹

Forever grateful that we were trusted to preserve it. 🤍

Happy Sunday, friends!
Today marks 5 years of Portraits By LisaMarie, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude🙏🏽❤️

If you had told me these two spent their engagement session making random animal noises in the middle of a garden… I would’ve said, “Yep… these are definitely my kind of people.”

Because that’s what love is supposed to look like, Not perfectly posed, Not serious, Not trying to impress anyone!

Just two best friends laughing until they can’t breathe, embracing every awkward little moment, and being completely, unapologetically themselves.

And somehow… that same playful, joy-filled love shines through every single image from their wedding day.

The smiles? Real!
The laughter? Contagious!
The way they look at each other? You simply can’t fake that!

And as if this season of life wasn’t already beautiful enough… they’re getting ready to welcome their sweet baby girl into the world. 🩷

Sweet girl, if your parents have taught us anything, it’s that life is meant to be laughed through. You’re about to grow up with parents who will probably embarrass you with random animal noises, spontaneous dance parties, and the biggest, safest kind of love.

Marena + Joe, your story is one that reminds us love doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be real!! And yours is exactly that!!

Some love stories aren’t defined by perfect weather… they’re defined by unwavering love. 🤍

Memorial Day weekend had other plans for Bianca & Nate!! From the moment they said “I do,” the rain never let up, It poured throughout their entire wedding day, changing plans and soaking just about everything in its path!

But not once did they let it steal their joy!!

Instead, they embraced every moment, celebrated with the people they love most, and focused on what truly mattered… becoming husband and wife.

A few weeks later, they slipped back into their gown and tux, not because they had to, but because these portraits meant something!! We returned to a place that holds a special piece of their hearts, and together we created the wedding portraits they had dreamed of all along!!

Looking through these images, you’d never know the storm they weathered. And honestly… I think that’s the perfect reflection of marriage. It isn’t about waiting for perfect conditions. It’s about choosing each other through every season, every unexpected turn, and every storm life brings.

Bianca & Nate, thank you for trusting me, not only on your wedding day, but again to tell your story exactly the way it deserved to be told. Your love is effortless, genuine, and so incredibly beautiful. These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do!
