Our Story
Hi! I am Caitlin. Just your average 30 something from Massachusetts who loves coffee, reality TV, a good book and a glass of wine. I grew up in Ashland and moved to Waltham where I now live with my husband, two boys (8 & 3) and our adorable yellow lab.
I've loved photography ever since I was a little girl but really took it to the next level in my mid 20s. In 2011, my husband and I welcomed our first child who unexpectedly had a stroke when he was born and developed a life-long condition known as Hydrocephalus. Due to the amount of medical care he needed as an infant, I quit my job in marketing and PR to stay home with him full time.
Our time at home was centered around and in front of my camera. I was constantly taking photos of him and soon decided to enroll in photography workshops, editing tutorials, and decided to launch my own portrait business.
I feel like ever since I became a mom, I realize how important it is to freeze time with my kids. They grow so fast and you can never get this time back which is why I feel it is important to invest in photography - to freeze these moments in time to look back on for years to come.
