Her Voice II - Round two... coming back around to some of my favorites from the second half of Her Voice II.

There’s just something about women coming together to lift each other up that means a whole lot to me. As a woman, I love seeing women supporting women... cheering each other on, creating space for each other, showing up for each other and celebrating one another. Getting to photograph a night built around that kind of connection is pretty damn special... it means so much to me.

Altogether we had 20 incredible female artists sharing the stage, and so many beautiful performances throughout the night. And while Her Voice is all about celebrating these amazing women, I also want to give a big shoutout to the men who volunteered their time and talent to help make it all happen... the drummers, guitar players, bass players and all the other musicians who jumped in and helped bring these performances to life.

There was so much talent, support and genuine love in one place. It really was a beautiful thing to witness.

And a huge thank you to Where House Bar for hosting... they absolutely killed it. And an extra special thank you to Silva S Conita, Sheila Davis and Women In Need of the Ozarks for making this whole thing happen and creating a space where women can come together, support one another and shine.

Her Voice II ❤️

The first Her Voice was something pretty special, so getting to come back to Where House Bar for round two was a real treat. This time, they took it outside... and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

The weather was beautiful, Where House was packed inside and out, and the whole place just had that kind of energy you hope for on a night like this.

Inside, Her Village was set up with a wonderful collection of women-owned businesses to shop and support, while Katie OBryan filled the space with some sweet tunes. Outside, 20 incredibly talented female artists took the stage throughout the evening, each bringing their own sound, style and story to the celebration.

So many wonderful performers. So many beautiful moments. And so much talent packed into one night.

I don’t want to keep you waiting for the photos, so I’m sharing some of my favorites from the first half of the night that I’ve finished editing. I’m still working my way through the second half, so there’s plenty more to come!

And so we come to the end of our Highlonesome Music Festival 2026 photo journey… with Front Porch. 🔥

This was a special one for Robert & I. ♥

We’ve been along for the High Lonesome ride since the beginning, watching this little festival grow into what it is today. So getting to see a band we truly love and have connected with over the years take the stage here at Dockley Ranch… well, that just hit different.

We’ve seen Front Porch in all kinds of places and settings, and every time we do, they bring that same wild, joyful energy that makes you want to get moving. We've really grown to love and admire these fellas... and are excited to see what the future holds for them.

But having them here, at what feels like our festival home, surrounded by so many of the people and places we’ve come to love through High Lonesome… it felt like two really special parts of our music world coming together. 🥹

And I have a feeling we’d better soak up these small, intimate Front Porch shows while we can. These folks are a treat, and I don’t think they’re going to stay a secret for long. ✨

Next up at Highlonesome Music Festival… Coyote Bait.

After a weekend of braving 100° heat, these folks brought the heat right back and gave us a hell of a way to close out Sunday’s events.

Front and center was Samantha Hubler... musician, songwriter, artist, and a familiar face around Dockley Ranch. Samantha’s creativity is woven into so much of what makes this place special, so it was pretty damn fitting to have Coyote Bait send us out with a bang. 🔥🔥🔥

And then… the skies finally opened up.

A much-needed downpour rolled in right after their set, giving us a short-lived reprieve from that brutal weekend heat. Just in time to pack up WET gear! 😅
