This is a post I really didn’t want to have to make. 💔📸

For the time being, I won’t be able to do any photos until the summer.

With my classes, and getting a job on campus, I just won’t have the time to travel for shoots or sit down and edit photos the way I want to. Photography means so much to me, and honestly, it hurts knowing that I have to take a step back from something I love.

I don’t want to make this decision, but right now I know I need to put my education first and focus on school. I’ve worked really hard to get where I am, and I don’t want to give my clients anything less than my best.

If anything changes, I’ll definitely make another post. Until then, this is what I have to do. 💔

Today, Nicks Photography honors the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and remembers the heroes, families, and countless people whose lives were forever changed.

The race may have been canceled because of the rain, but that didn’t stop me from capturing a few moments before the clouds rolled in! 🌧️🏁📸 Unfortunately, these pre-race photos are all I got, but I’m still glad I got the chance to be there and capture the excitement before the race was called off!

The smoke didn’t stop us from using this beautiful day to take photos on Pilot Mountain. ❤️⛰️📸

Loved capturing a sweet couple’s love story. Even with the smoky skies, it turned out to be an amazing session full of laughter, beautiful views, and memories that will last a lifetime.
