Nate | Class of 2027 | Wolcott High School
I met up with Nate at one of my favorite senior session locations, Gouevia Vineyards, and I think Mother Nature decided to finally cooperate with us!

After pouring buckets the night before and all morning, the sun came out just in time for our 4:00 session. We had a few puddles to strategically walk around, but otherwise… it was pretty much perfect!

Nate is one of those seniors who keeps himself BUSY. Between Cross Country, Tennis, Pickleball, school, work, and everything else he has going on, he definitely seems to have mastered the art of always having something to do!

He’s independent, goal-oriented, personable, and determined when he sets his mind to something. He’s not afraid to follow his own path, and he has a great sense of humor and a genuinely considerate nature.

Sports are a big part of Nate’s life. He received the Eagle Spirit Award for his Cross Country season and the Coaches Award for Tennis. He has also competed successfully in numerous Pickleball tournaments and has participated in local Wolcott running races, earning both first- and second-place finishes.

And when he isn’t competing, you might find him listening to Twenty One Pilots or Tame Impala… or cheering on his Mets!

Next year, Nate has his sights set on college, where he hopes to study Finance, with an interest in possibly pursuing a path in Sports Analytics. He and his family spent part of the summer visiting schools in North and South Carolina, and he’s hoping to continue his education somewhere in that area. USC, UNC Charlotte, High Point, and Clemson are currently on his list!

And because apparently he needs one more thing to keep him busy, Nate would love to play club Pickleball in college, too.

For now, though, he’s enjoying his senior year and working as a summer camp counselor—another perfect fit for someone who clearly enjoys staying busy and connecting with people.

Nate, I had such a great time hanging out with you and capturing this exciting season of your life! I hope your senior year is everything you want it to be, and that the next chapter takes you exactly where you want to go.

Congratulations, Nate! Im sure its going to be a great year!

Matti | Lyman Hall Class of 2027

Mother Nature was definitely keeping us on our toes last week!

All day Thursday, the forecast was calling for rain at 4:00 and thunderstorms at 6:00… but we decided to take a chance and met at Hammonasset Beach at 5:00.

And I’m SO glad we did!

We ended up with an amazing 45 minutes before the rain finally started coming down. But that’s okay… we got the shots!

Matti was an absolute natural in front of the camera. Some people just have it, and the camera clearly loves her! We had so much fun exploring the beach, capturing all the little in-between moments, and even managed to sneak in a family photo.

Mom was especially thrilled about that one because Matti’s big brother was heading off to college the very next day. The timing worked out perfectly that he was still home and could jump in for a quick family photo.

Matti is a senior at Lyman Hall High School, where she plays both field hockey and softball. She’s also started the college search and is hoping to eventually call somewhere down South home… although she’s still deciding exactly where that will be!

She’s a pet lover, too, and has an interest in pet care.

After spending this time with Matti, one thing is very clear to me: whatever she sets her mind to, I have no doubt she’ll accomplish. She has such a natural confidence and sweet personality, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her.

Matti, I hope your senior year is everything you’re hoping for and more!

Met up with Ryan yesterday for his senior session ... and it was absolutely beautiful weather... (again as it poured yesterday morning , we were all thrilled to see the sun that afternoon!) I always tell my seniors that the session is all about YOU, their hobbies etc. Loved that we were able to incorporate in a few photos of Ryan with his sweet ride...
