Doflamingo's Origin is one of the best back stories in OnePiece. It shows that his beliefs were engraved in his soul since he was a child and he never changes his outlook. There are pros n cons to this mindset. Obsession and perseverance was the only way to get as far as he did, tho his intentions in his heart and lack of other qualities was ultimately the reason for his down fall.... and Gear 4 lol
