I can't believe it's almost Mother's Day! I know so many first time mamas who will be celebrating their first mother's day this year and couldn't be more excited for them! Melanie & Ross 3.21.2025 🤍 These two sweet souls had a gorgeous wedding day! We laughed, we cried, and we laughed even harder when the entire wedding party got pooped on at the altar thanks to an Osprey flying over 😅 I'd say that's some amazing luck for them to have in their marriage. At the corner of Wilkes Street and Royal Street is the entrance to a former railroad tunnel that belonged to Orange & Alexandria Railroad completed in 1856. It was used in both the Civil War and World War I as a major connector between Washington, D.C., and Richmond, Virginia. Today, the Wilkes Street Tunnel is a pedestrian walkway and is a great spot for photos!

Hi! For those of you who do not know me, let me take a moment to introduce myself. ☺️

I am a born and raised Marylander, living in the farmville area of Waldorf with my husband, Drew and our son, Finnegan. Alongside photography, I work full-time as a Contracting Officer for the federal government. When I am not dabbling in photography, I enjoy traveling, bonfires, re-decorating my house, and spending time with our three large dogs.

I picked up my first camera in elementary school — my Barbie Polaroid — and fell in love. Not long after highschool, I purchase my first "big girl" camera from a friend who was upgrading their camera (Nikon D5300) and currently shoot with my birthday present to myself — Nikon Z5. I'm a wedding, engagement, and family photographer for adventurous couples and those who love the outdoors!

I started taking photos of wildlife followed by some friends and family in 2014. I started practicing more couple shoots with my brother and sister in law before creating a page and posting my work to social media. A lot of my sessions are typically couples and families. I photographed my first wedding in 2023 and can't wait to shoot my second in 2025!

Engagements and other styled couple shoots are my favorites to photograph. I absolutely love creating and capturing moments that my couples will have to look back on forever. Ferris Bueller once said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” It amazes me each and every day just how blessed I am to be able to give these moments to others for them to enjoy and eventually pass down through their families for years.
