The benefits of a nearby Hurricane ⛈ are the dramatic colors of sunset. None of these were edited for colors. It's the natural beauty of Maui sky. And the perfect setting for a magnificent engagement.😍

Golden light, bare feet, and the whole family together on Wailea sunset.

For years the Balter family has made its home capturing moments like these across the island — the big smiles, the quiet portraits, the run-through-the-waves kind of joy you'll want to keep forever. However your family loves to be together, we'd love to help you remember your time on Maui.

They came all the way from Germany for their beautiful elopement. Vows were exchanged at the ocean edge, with their toddler stealing the show, and Maluaka Beach glowing gold behind them — this is why we love what we do. Every Wailea Photo session is built around real moments and real family joy on Maui. Ready for yours? waileaphoto.com

Turquoise water morning in South Maui 💙

I had the joy of photographing this sweet family visiting from the mainland — we timed it for that glassy morning light when the water looks like this. They wanted something natural, not stiff posing, just real family moments barefoot in the sand.

That blue canoe is the "Mo'oloa" — always a favorite spot for a quick portrait on this beach.

If you're visiting Wailea this week, mornings before 9am are absolutely perfect for family photos. Happy to share beach tips if you need!
