Even though I don’t teach anymore, I bring so much of my teaching energy to every shoot. The silliness, patience, and pure joy of being around kids. Laughing and being goofy with my classes are some of my core memories.

It’s funny when I think about it because I wasn’t a perfect teacher. I didn’t come up with all of the best projects or get the highest evaluation scores (which my perfectionist self didn’t like lol), but my energy and love for kids was my superpower. It still is and I will bring it to your family session every time.

Listen, the thing about me is I’m a goof and I freaking love my job so you just never know what’s gonna come out of my mouth. I’m so grateful Connor and Sydnee just laughed along with me because what in the actual?!

This is actually what it’s like to take photos with me. Life really isn’t that serious and hopefully my goofiness brings you some peace infront of my camera.

I love my job. This was on my drive home from my sunset session last night and I finally got the confidence to share. 🤣

Swipe to see a surprise proposal unfold 😍➡️

Lani’s mom booked a family session with me for their family trip to Oahu. A month or so later Lani’s boyfriend reached out to see if he could propose to Lani during their family session. These are the kind of emails/texts I cannot respond to fast enough. Of course I said yes!! The next few weeks flew by and it was time for their session. When it got to Lani and Hunter’s turn for couples photos, I prompted Hunter to “sneak attack Lani from behind and give her a bear hug!” The second time, Hunter got down on one knee and Lani turned around. It was magical. Lani’s reaction was priceless and of course she said YES! It was truly an honor to witness this moment.

I told them at the end of the shoot that I barely even know them, but I am so excited for them and their story. When you trust me to capture milestone moments for your family, you can count on me to be your biggest supporter from then on out!

I am cheering you on Lani and Hunter!! Thank you for your trust Lindsey Family!
