above all, they wanted to remember how the day felt. from the warmth of the desert to the emotions worn on each of their guests. small moments maybe ending up forgotten over the years to the big, monumental commitments. a day of sentimentality, of dedication, and above all, deep, deep love.

Ever since I was young I wanted to create. By god I would create *something* that would transcend my own life. Rooted in nostalgia and dreams of the past, I found myself enveloped by photography. Documenting a fleeting moment and turning it into something tangible. The freedom to edit and warp reality into something dreamier, more like how it felt. Noticing, observing, listening to connections of human to human or human to nature. the root of everything I create now is you, and past me.

polaroids are such a true time capsule for me. they give the instant gratification of digital, but with the nostalgic, imperfect snapshot from film. no editing in between, just quick snaps of observation as the day goes on. every wedding collection comes with a lil pack of these frames because…why not? holding a memory in your hands makes it unforgettable.

these two are just the best ever. the sweetness and softness of their love for each other really speaks in these images. i cannot wait to celebrate them in a couple of months for their wedding!!
