Still plenty of summer left, but I’ve started looking ahead to the fall show season.

I’ve been going back through some of my favorite autumn photographs and deciding which ones will be coming with me to upcoming fairs.

This one has always been a favorite.

Sometimes the photograph is hiding in plain sight.

Some of my favorite images haven’t come from traveling somewhere extraordinary. They’ve come from places and subjects I might have passed dozens of times before finally seeing them differently.

An old tractor. A weathered building. A quiet dock. A familiar stretch of water.

Sometimes all it takes is different light, a different season—or simply stopping long enough to notice.

That idea became the subject of my latest Journal entry:

“The Photographs We Almost Miss: Finding Beauty in Familiar Places.”

Now on my website — link in bio.

Autumn Is Coming 🍂

Summer still has plenty of days left, but every now and then I find myself looking back at one of my favorite autumn evenings on Long Island.

The first cool mornings.
The changing colors.
The quiet reflections.
Those dramatic skies that make you stop for just a moment.

Before long, I’ll be back out chasing scenes like this again.

Are you ready for autumn, or are you holding on to summer a little longer?

📸 New on the Journal

Have you ever wondered what separates a fine art print from a standard poster or inexpensive print?

It’s more than just the photograph.

From archival pigment inks and acid-free matting to the care that goes into every print I hand-mat, I believe the materials matter just as much as the image itself.

I recently wrote a new Journal post that takes you behind the scenes and explains what makes a fine art print something that can be enjoyed for decades.

Whether you’re a collector, a fellow photographer, or simply curious about the process, I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read it.

As always, thank you for supporting independent artists.

From My Studio to Your Walls

One of my favorite parts of photography is seeing an image become finished artwork.

Each piece is professionally printed on archival paper, matted, framed, signed, and arrives ready to hang—created to be enjoyed for years to come.

Here are just a few of the framed Long Island photographs currently available from my studio. Many of these haven’t made it onto my website yet, so if one catches your eye—or you’re looking for a favorite Long Island location—I’d be happy to show you what’s available.

📍 Local pickup in Wading River is available, and shipping is always an option.

Which one would you hang in your home?

The Brooklyn Bridge has connected New Yorkers for more than 140 years. Long after the crowds are gone, the city still has a way of slowing you down—if you take a moment to look.
