It’s looking like we are going to have snow for our mini sessions!

It's been six years since Courtney and I have had the opportunity to shoot wild, crazy and high energy mini sessions together, so it is about time we do it again! Defining Moments Photography and Everlasting Images is so excited to share that we are back together and bringing Santa and his sleigh in to add to the fun! Your 20 minute session includes three digital images, and a print release for $150.00. There will also be an indoor Christmas set for those that want to use it at no additional cost. We are shooting these sessions outside, at the studio in Wadena on November 23rd, so book your session today!

Just a few photos of some of my favorite people on this whole entire planet. I feel very, very blessed to have been able to see both of my sisters and their amazing husbands this last summer. It doesn't happen often enough! Is anyone able to tell which couple was better behaved than the other? Does anyone notice which sister doesn't have any individual photos? Taking photos of
Tom and Traci Vierzba was like herding cats in comparison to Harry and Michele Thomas Battle. 🤣

Meet the sweet Ayo family. Miss Callie is the newest addition and already so loved! They were all such a dream to photograph and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful family to welcome into the studio for the first ever session!

So... I've been working on a little project. A lot of you know that our family decided to move back from Maine to Wadena, Minnesota because my mom is sick and I wanted to be able to be here for her and my dad. We finally decided that it was time for us to re-open Defining Moments Photography. I have been dreaming of this for so long! My "little" project is almost complete thanks to my dad, Shawn and some amazing friends who put their blood sweat and tears into it along side of me. In the last month or so, my dad and Shawn put up a wall and laid flooring in my client closet/prop room. It is HUGE and I need every square inch of it! Stephanie McDonald, with River Rock Painting, painted the studio for me. I was shocked at how fast the painting was completed and would recommend her and her son Seth McDonald to anyone who needs some painting done. They work on existing homes, new builds and businesses as well. Tawnya and Jeremy Bulger made the trip here to Wadena last weekend to help as well. My dad and Jeremy took down the huge garage door to the pole barn, framed up the new wall, added windows, insulated and sealed it all up inside and out with a bit of help from Keaton, Tawnya and I. On top of that, my dad and Jeremy laid down more flooring in the studio. The way I wrote it makes it all sound so easy, but they put in some long days and there was a lot of hard work involved. When Tawnya and I weren't helping the guys, we were unpacking boxes and washing all of the beautiful tiny outfits, wraps, bonnets and more to prepare for our first newborn shoot. It was like the most incredible Christmas you could ever imagine! Thanks to Tawnya, I am well organized and have figured out how I want everything in the studio laid out. As I am writing this, my dad and Shawn are finishing the flooring in the studio. I am so excited! There are still some loose ends to tie up. I have no idea what I want to do to the bathroom and there is plenty of trim and furniture to paint. Lastly, I need to figure out how I want to organize the client closet. We are so close to being done! I couldn't have done it without all of the amazing people I have in my life who all came together with such giving hearts to help me out! I am incredibly thankful for them!
