Hello 2026!
For the past several years, I’ve intentionally begun each new year offline. This year, that pause lasted nine weeks. While social media often equates visibility with productivity, the truth is our most fruitful seasons have often happened quietly.
January and February marked our busiest start to a year yet, with seven weddings secured during this period for 2026 and 2027. I’m deeply grateful for the trust our couples continue to place in us.
For nearly a decade, we limited our calendar to ten weddings annually so I could remain fully present at home while Brady and Avery were young. Family has always been the foundation of every business decision we’ve made and we were so grateful that Eric’s job and my job allowed us to remain present in their lives, as it still does today 🙏🏻
When he began school this past August, we stepped confidently into this next chapter — expanding the studio full time while maintaining the intentional experience our clients expect.
This year also marks ten years in business.
Ten years of documenting first looks, legacy moments, growing families, and the quiet in-between exchanges that often mean the most.
After losing my mom last year, that perspective deepened. It reinforced the weight photographs carry over time — how they become anchors to the people and seasons we love most. That awareness shapes how I approach every wedding and portrait session today.
As technology continues to evolve, what remains irreplaceable is human presence — discernment, intuition, and the lived experience behind the lens. Im thrilled to lead a few conversations around AI and how that shapes the field of creativity. Please stay tuned for more here.
I’m stepping into this year with clarity, gratitude, and great anticipation for what’s ahead.
Here’s to a new season! Thank you for each and every person who has supported us along the way 🫶🏻
