Photo of the Day
Credit: Carlos Diaz
Gatesville Tx
Captured on August 1, 2026, at 7:00 PM during the 89th Annual Gatesville Rodeo in Gatesville, Texas.
I shot this to honor the 1st Cavalry Division Horse Cavalry Detachment. Despite the 96?F heat, their discipline and professionalism inspired me to capture the moment. In post-processing, I enhanced the color scheme to highlight the bold contrast between the deep blue sky and the rich, orange-red arena dirt.
