Sam & Luke💛

I don't think I can quite put into words what it means to grow up alongside sam, walk through all those awkward high school years together, and then get to stand back and watch her marry the man God created just for her.

To watch Sam & Luke come before God, their family, and their friends and vow to love one another for the rest of their lives was such a beautiful thing. My heart is so full of joy for them!
It was such a blessing to witness their lives become one and to be there for the beginning of this beautiful new chapter.

So thankful I got to capture this day for two people that deserve the world!

A wedding is a day… but a marriage is a lifetime.

And somewhere along the way, I think we started forgetting that.

This day wasn’t about timelines or trends or impressing anyone—it was about two people choosing forever. Simple as that. Intentional. Honest. Real.

A backyard. Childhood bedrooms. Your people surrounding you. An uncle running the music. Laughter that doesn’t feel staged. Nothing overdone, just everything that matters.

And it was beautiful.

This isn’t a knock on big, glamorous weddings—those are beautiful too. But for the bride who feels overwhelmed by what weddings “should” look like… hear this: you don’t have to do it that way.

You can build something slow and meaningful.
You can keep it simple.
You can make it yours.

Because at the end of it all, it’s not about the day.
It’s about the promise.

I love getting to be a small part of growing families, especially in a season where we’re growing ours too.

It just makes moments like this feel a little softer, a little sweeter, a little closer to home.
