The stories of the west were written long before us.

Before the highways crossed the plains, before fences divided the land, there were horses running across it.

They carried the first people west. They carried ranchers into country that had never been touched. They worked alongside the men and women who built a life from the land, and somehow, through all the years that have passed, they still carry the same spirit.

There is something about a horse in the West that feels almost sacred. The way they stand against a horizon. The way they move across open ground.

These are the stories I want to remember. The stories I want to tell.

Hi friends, just popping on to say hello and reintroduce myself.

I’m Kassidi — your western and livestock photographer and ultimate hype girl, with a passion for preserving the moments that matter most. Whether it’s a cowboy and cowgirl love story, a growing family, a senior chasing big dreams, or the livestock industry that raised us, I believe every season of life deserves to be remembered.

Based in Texas and Kansas, but always willing to travel wherever your story takes me, I’m honored to capture the people, places, and moments that mean the most to you.

I spend my days teaching second graders, and when I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me spending time with my husband and our golden retriever, Benny, tending to our sheep or at a livestock show somewhere down the road.

So if you’ve been here for a while, thank you. And if you’re just finding your way to Broken Arrow Photography, I’m so glad you’re here. 🤎
