Meet Maverick!! This young guy is awesome. I was super impressed with him at our session yesterday. I don't think he's ever met a stranger. If you are looking for a German Shepherd, he's your man. He's ready to be your sidekick.

Adopted!!! Congrats Benson!

What’s this?!?

🐶 It’s the internet’s FAVORITE DOG Benson! 🐶

You may remember - Benson entered the Waco shelter in December and had become a long-stay resident there.

He joined WPA! just about 15 days ago.

He knocked everyone’s socks off over here by being one of the most absolutely awesome dogs any of us had ever met. Add to that, he’s only estimated around 1 year old - amazing!

We mean it. Benson is probably one of the coolest dogs on the planet.

After an awesome photo shoot by Crazy M Photography last weekend, and using marketing best practices we learn from the PROS in animal welfare, Benson hit the internet far and wide just earlier this week.

We ended up with 4 applicants for Benson in just two days 🥇🏆🥇

Benson left today to settle in with his new family.

Thank you to everyone who donated a couple of bags of dog food for Benson (and our other rescued dogs) this past month!

We need someone to adopt Benson.

We don’t know how we got so lucky with this young (1yo) mixed breed boy. He is possibly the nicest, kindest dog in the history of ever.

Benson is so perfect, he would even be a great match for a first time dog owner. If you are looking for an easy, happy, wonderful dog to join your home – this is your boy.

Benson is already crate/house trained and knows basic obedience commands. He likes little dogs and big dogs and hangs out with cats and farm animals – a friend to all. He walks on a leash, rides in the car, is generally a pretty quiet dog, and would be a great dog to join you out to Home Depot or on your favorite restaurant patio.

He has a perfect energy level. He will romp and play if you want to and cuddle and snooze when needed. He is very friendly and affectionate and has never met a stranger.

Also, his favorite laying position is the frog leg sploot. It doesn’t get any better than that.

This is a very good boy, and we can all now quit asking "Who's a good boy?" It's Benson.

Meet Nala Rae! She's a little timid but so calm and quiet. She was just pulled from the Humane Society of Central Texas and is currently in foster with Waco Pets Alive. If you want a girl with loads of expressions, Nala Rae is the one!
