I am a wife, a fur mom, and a college student that is just trying to make her way into the business. The reason I have chosen photography is because growing up in the small town of North Liberty Indiana in a home with five other sisters, family is something that has always been extremely important to me. Now that all of us girls are now adults and starting families I have realized just how important it is to capture all of life's moments with the people who mean the most to you. Which is what lead me to photography. I am just starting out and really looking to get some practice under my belt to kind of get the ball rolling on this business. You can get 30 minutes for only $99 normally $195 or an hour for only $275 normally $395.

What started and ended as an extremely rainy day, stopped about five minutes before the ceremony and stayed away until we were all done with their couples portraits!

A day full of so much love, with their friends and family! A beautiful location, and the sweetest couple with a love story that began in MIDDLE SCHOOL!

I am so thankful to have been apart of their day! I would also like to thank B Honey photography so much for making the trip down south with me all weekend and being the best assistant!

Let’s talk about RESPECT for a minute. 📸

I don’t normally make posts like this, but sometimes things need to be said.

While I was actively photographing someone’s session, a comment was made about my business:

“I’m going to get you the name of who took our photos. She’s better and has a quicker turnaround time.”

Mind you I’m two feet in front of them taking photos of their family.

Let me make something very clear.

You are absolutely entitled to your opinions, preferences, and choice of photographer. There are so many talented photographers out there, and I will always support others in this industry.

But there is a time, a place, and a respectful way to have those conversations.

Standing there while I’m actively working, pouring my time, energy, creativity, and heart into your memories is NOT that time or place.

Photography isn’t a competition to me. I don’t need to be everyone’s favorite photographer. I don’t need to be the cheapest, the fastest, or even someone’s first choice.

But I DO deserve basic respect.

My turnaround times are communicated for a reason. I have a life, a family, responsibilities, and a business that I work incredibly hard to maintain while still working full time.

I don’t rush through someone’s memories just to say I delivered them faster than someone else.

You can compliment another photographer without tearing one down. You can prefer someone else’s work without disrespecting mine.

At the end of the day, I’m a human being standing behind that camera. I hear things. I have feelings. And while I will always remain professional during your session, that doesn’t mean disrespect goes unnoticed.

To everyone who continues to choose me, respects my work, and trusts me with your memories, THANK YOU. You are the reason I continue doing what I love. 🤍
