One of my favorite parts of photographing this wedding was capturing all of the little moments ✨

At this wedding, guests were treated to something extra special... a live wedding painter! 🎨💕

Watching Julia create beautiful keepsake illustrations throughout the evening was so much fun. Guests loved stopping by to watch her work, and seeing their reactions when they received their custom artwork was priceless.

As a photographer, I love documenting experiences like this because they're the moments that help tell the full story of a wedding day. It's not just about the ceremony or the portraits. It's about the laughter, the surprises, the details, and the memories guests will talk about long after the day is over.

A huge shoutout to Julia for bringing such a creative and interactive element to the celebration. It was a joy to photograph her talent in action! Not to mention shes such a sweetheart.

✨ A Little Different Than My Usual Sessions ✨

Most of you know that I specialize in family photography, senior sessions (Class of 2026, where are you? 👀), and branding photography for small businesses.

But recently, I had the opportunity to do something a little different and so incredibly special for a longtime friend.

Being trusted to capture pieces of such an important celebration was truly an honor. From the beautiful bride to the amazing family and friends, every detail was filled with so much love, laughter, and joy.

And can we talk about the talent?! 😍

I was surrounded by an incredible group of vendors, a beautiful venue, and some seriously talented friends and family who helped bring every detail together. The florals, desserts, décor, and personal touches were absolutely stunning. Everything came together perfectly and made the entire event feel so warm, welcoming, and unforgettable.

I'm so grateful to have been included in such a meaningful day and to document these memories. ❤️

Here are just a few highlights from an evening filled with love, happy tears, laughter, and so many special moments.

Apparently the photography gods have decided that TWO weekends in a row I should have unexpected availability. 😳

Now, I know what you’re thinking…

“Laurie, go enjoy a weekend off with your family!”

And normally I’d agree… except ya girl’s got bills to pay. 😂

Plus, if we’re being honest, my kids are all grown and apparently I’m no longer cool enough to be included in their weekend plans anyway. The audacity.

So here I am, offering up one of the precious few beautiful weekends we get each year 💁‍♀️📸

Because let’s face it—there are only so many weekends with perfect weather, green trees, flowers blooming, and everyone not sweating through their clothes.
