On 3•23•26 we had to say goodbye to a piece of our heart.
Sunday night, Bambi and her sister Nala escaped through a hole in our fence and were hit by a car. Sadly, due to Bambi’s injuries, she had to be put down.
Bambi was so loved and brought so much happiness into our lives. We will forever miss her dorky personality and will forever hold onto the memories of her, always carrying something in her mouth-her favorite being a water bottle.
Nala is still with us, and we’re holding her extra close as we grieve this loss. She was also hit and suffered a broken leg, she had surgery and is recovering well. This tragic loss has been very tough on the kids and I pray we all heal from this.
