"Cape Hatteras Lighthouse" I'm making it my goal to clean out my catalogue this year, and hopefully add to it a bit 😊. This is from last April, sunrise on Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.

"The Painted Hills" Here's one from back in June in the Painted Hills in Oregon. I love a good bench and this one definitely has the type of view that I long for.

"Thankful" Hi 👋, it's been a while, life has gotten busy, but in the best ways. I've still been taking photos occasionally but finally had some time to actually go through and share this one. It's from a September trip to Kaaterskill Falls. I'm hoping to get more time to share because I do miss it, but the past several months have been some of the best for me mentally and spiritually - and on top of that my business has been growing pretty steadily now (the non photography one that actually makes me money 🙃) Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

"Now"

Hi! It's been a while - and that's actually been good for me. I got into photography about 7-8 years ago, back then it was something I used to cope with my depression - a serene escape from reality when all that mattered was an image. Over time it turned into something I relied on to keep me going, I needed that escape. About 5 years ago I got to a point of healing, and from then on my images were my crutch, I associated so much of myself with them that I felt without them I might lose what I had worked for. And now, over the past few months, I finally don't need it. So here is the first artistic image I have ever shared that was not created out of pain or fear of breaking again, it's here simply because I wanted to create it. 🤠

"Focused" A rock in Lake Superior on a good day. I find it helpful to look back at the journeys that brought me to where I am, it brings into focus why I'm here. One of the inadvertent advantages of taking a really long time to go through the photos I take 🙃.

"Seclusion" The Curtis Island Lighthouse. The overlook where I took this was clearly marked on the map, but not too obvious in person. Down a short wooded path off the side of a residential road was this pretty cool view. I spent a while hoping I'd get that boat in frame 🙂
