I wanted to do a video to apologize to the fans going to . I won’t be attending this year unfortunately. However, I am excited to announce the reason why I can’t attend is I’ll be shooting a film with Terrence Howard and Kate Bosworth. Can’t wait to keep you up-to-date on how that movie progresses.

That line hits different this year…

This post is for my wife the love of my life, my anchor in the storm, the warrior by my side.
She’s right… we’ve been through what felt like hell and back not with each other, but against the others.

The lies.
The battles.
The tests life throws when you’re building something real, something lasting.
But through it all, we’ve stood united. Never against each other, always side by side.

The world is loud.
People talk.
Everyone’s convinced they’re right.
But I’ve learned something powerful:
Truth doesn’t need to scream. It survives. It wins.

And through the noise, one thing has never wavered:
My core.
My wife.
My children.
My reason.
My why.

I’ve made millions.
I’ve lost it all.
I’ve climbed back… harder, smarter, stronger.
But no amount of money, status, or success compares to this…

The arms of my kids around my neck.
The strength in my wife’s voice when she says, “We got this.”
The quiet moments that no one sees, but that mean everything.

This year, the greatest birthday gift wasn’t something I unwrapped…
It’s the life we’ve built.
The love we protect.
The family I fight for.

I’m not lucky.
I’m blessed and I will guard that blessing with everything I’ve got.
Because the devil tried.
The demons showed up.
But they picked the wrong family.

Check out the trailer of my new film… it’s finally here!
It drops today, and I couldn’t be more proud.
“Prisoner of War” hits select theaters and VOD on September 19th… and trust me, this one means a lot.

It’s been an incredible journey bringing this story to life and I’m beyond grateful for everyone who came together to make it happen. From our cast to our crew, to those behind the scenes who believed in the vision and gave it their all… it wasn’t one person that made this it was a crew of over 200 people plus post production to bring this together. thank you.

It meant a lot for me personally to be back in the Philippines, filming again where my dream of being the Bridge between hollywood and philppines first took root.
Years ago, I wrote, directed, and produced my first feature there with & and I made headlines as Director/Producer making the first Hollywood-Filipino hybrid production with both Filipino and U.S. stars. Now, I’m doing it again, this time with , , and behind the scenes helping bring this wild ride to life.

Massive respect to the incredible talent and commitment across the board Especially the producing team & who also directed the film.
Everyone showed up with passion and purpose and the result is something powerful.

This is just the beginning. I’m producing more! Copon Studios has two more films coming later this year and yes, the movement continues in Manila and beyond.

We’re not just making movies.
We’re building bridges, creating opportunities, and pushing filipino stories forward in ways that matter.
So if you want to make movies in the philppines… I’m all set up ready to go!

This talented guy was casted in his first big movie at Michael Copon Studios in 2016 when I have my location in Norfolk Virginia. My mom helped with his hair and make up. Even then, I knew he was gonna be a big star… but I never knew he would be superman! Saying I’m proud of him is an understatement! Keep up the great work David the film is setting records!
