I grew up in Merritt Island Florida, a small but important town in Florida. Important with regards to Kennedy Space Center, literally my house as a kid was a 15-min drive to the gate. At the age of nineteen I decided to “Let My Journey Begin” and joined the Navy. The Navy took me around the world and gave me opportunities to see and do things I would have never been able to do. While in the Navy I
always had my camera in hand either while out at sea or while we were in port in distant lands. After the Navy, my wife and I moved to Rhode Island for a short 3 years and then decided to move back to the Hampton Roads area to go back to school. I have 3 kids the oldest being 15 and the youngest is 5, also with my family comes 2 dogs. All in all, we are a lively group. I have a fun-loving personality and have fun bringing smiles to everyone. Since I was a kid I have always liked creating art. I started at an early age with drawing to pass the endless time of school to stay out of trouble. My parents have always supported my drawing abilities with encouragement to come up with a cartoon character of some sort. As I got older I started to follow more in the footprints of my dad who does photography. My first camera was a Kodak C110, and my love for photography just grew from there. My first 35mm camera was a Minolta that I bought from a pawn shop for a college photography class in 1999. I like to bring an artistic approach in my photography, looking for the story and beauty within what I am photographing. In my photography, I like to capture the organic in the moment photo-journalistic style to tell the story. Photography Accomplishments:
