If family photos feel a little intimidating, here are 3 things I want you to know before you book. ❤️

1. Your kids don’t need to “behave.”😂
The giggles, wiggles, big personalities and little moments of chaos? That’s your family. And honestly, those are usually the moments I love capturing most.

2. You don’t need to know how to pose.
No awkward standing around wondering what to do with your hands. I’ll guide you, prompt you and keep things moving so your photos feel natural, relaxed and like *you*.

3. You deserve to be in the photos, too.
Not just behind the camera. Not waiting until everyone looks perfect. Not “maybe next year.” These are the days you’re going to want to remember. ❤️

So if you keep saying, “We really need updated family photos…”

I hear this ALL the time before a branding session. And then somewhere between the laughs, the prompts, and forgetting the camera is even there… everything changes.

Suddenly, you’re looking at the back of my camera saying, “Wait… I actually LOVE these.” 🥹

If being in front of the camera makes you a little nervous, you are VERY much not alone. Here are 4 things I always recommend before your shoot:

✨ Wear something you already know you feel good in. This is not the day to experiment with an outfit you’re unsure about.

✨ Don’t practice your poses. Seriously. I’ll guide you through that part.

✨ Bring a few things you actually use in your business. Your laptop, coffee, products, notebook… whatever feels natural to you.

✨ Give yourself permission to warm up. You do not need to walk in feeling like a model. That’s why I’m here!

POV: You think about your branding photos once in a while… I think about them every. single. day. 😂📸

The lighting. The poses. The outfits. The little details that make you look at a photo and think, “Okayyyy, THAT feels like me.”

As a photographer who also helps you with confidence coaching, you shouldn’t have to worry about ANYTHING before your shoot!

If you know me, you know I LOVE to travel. ✈️🤍

This cruise was such a special one for our family as we got to celebrate a pretty big milestone together. Lots of laughs, lots of memories, and definitely a trip I’ll never forget.

As much as I love being away and exploring somewhere new, it also feels so good to be home and back behind the camera doing what I love most. 📸
