KDShotThat is announcing a new collection that will run concurrent with my Faceless Beauty series.
This collection is titled “Inhibitions Off” (name is a work in progress, may very well change)
I self proclaimed the title “The Personality Photographer” and with this collection, I want to immortalize that title. When one thinks of personality photography, I want my name associated with.
This collection will be in the style of Terry Richardson’s portrait photography. Disclaimer, I do not endorse, admire, support Terry Richardson as a photographer or human knowing the allegations brought against him but I am a fan of his aesthetic and that’s all I’m using in this collection. A plain wall, a bright continuous light and people being unapologetically themselves with no worries of what others think aka their inhibitions were off.
Thats the goal for my collection, a collection of people of all races, all shapes and sizes, walks of life who can just be unapologetically themselves! I’m not photographing everyone but I would love to know who is interested! I’m not sure if I want to shoot this all on white walls/backdrops or different colored walls/backdrops so don’t get too attached to the white or turned off cause no color, I’ll make that decision later haha.
(All the images are images that Terry Richardson captured over his time to show you how people were themselves whether weird, goofy, sexy, etc… the beauty is, BE YOURSELF!!! Unless you have no personality, don’t slide in my comments or DMs lol)
