during this laid back, test session, the live version of messy by olivia dean started to play & we both drifted off into this blissful state of like yeah…. everything is working out. and life is beautiful.

i adore these images and what they feel like to me. i wanted something simple, sweet, and refreshing. this was me, as i do every blue moon, trying my hand with beauty photography. i’m grateful for every opportunity that i get to create with my heart & soul in mind ♡

i couldn’t wait to photograph this blue piece that had been sitting in my closet for years, collecting dust. i found myself hugging my camera mid shoot, smiling ear to ear, truly enjoying the process of creating.. especially because i’d been itching to shoot something of the sorts for a bit

i’m so excited to continue growing & sharing with you all. every time i shoot, i get out of my comfort zone and get a deeper understanding of what photography means to me. so thank you for being here… along this journey of mine 🖤💙

♡ this is Nika! this was my 2nd time taking her photograph. and this woman is the truly the most gorgeous night owl i’ve ever seen. i can expect anytime that we work together to begin shooting at 2-4am + spending the entire next day sleeping lol. i couldn’t be happier with how these came out
