A mothers love is like no other…

I never really understood this until I became a mom. You would literally do anything for your child. I thought I knew what love was before I became a mom, but it really isn’t something you can ever prepare for.

People like to describe it as having your heart walk around outside your body. And I used to think that was silly, but it really is like that!

Shout out to all the moms who are walking around with parts of their heart outside their body and praying every day for their children 🤍

They grow up so fast!

If you’re a Mom, do you remember when your little one was born? How time seem to all the sudden speed up and they just change so fast!

Next thing you know they’re off to elementary school to start kindergarten then you blink and they’re in middle school. Then you look up and they’re graduating from high school and off to college.

18 years! That’s all we get! That’s why I’m so passionate about documenting every single year of your child’s life. So you can remember every little detail.

Did you know...
I tried four different career paths before finally taking a leap and making something I was passionate about into a career?

I hate to say it, but I let fear and worry hold me back from my dreams because I was worried I would fail or not be good enough. I try not to dwell too much on it, but I do think about what my life would have looked like if I pursued photography 10 years ago instead of holding off.

This is just your reminder, we all start somewhere and we all have worries and fears... but your dreams are worth pursuing!

Something I hear my clients say all the time to me:

"My kid is CRAZY! You are going to have your hands full!" or something along those lines 😂! I think most of the time parents think they are the only ones.. . like their children are the only one who can be crazy!

BUT I AM A BOY MOM!! 😂😂 I remember the days all too well where Noah wouldn't do anything but run and throw sand. I remember when it was impossible for him to sit still. Because I have experience with this- it helps me coach your kids! And just another reason why I encourage fun, play, and adventure at our sessions. I always get the smile at the camera shot, but I also allow them to show their personality and I encourage parents to play with them!

Well let me tell you why I love mini sessions... they are a great way to get your little one use to being in front of the camera without paying for a full session!​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Sometimes it takes little ones a bit to warm up to their photographer and small introductions can be best! I usually can grab a smile or two at a mini session, but when a family books me the second time their little ones feel a lot more comfortable!​​​​​​​​

It's less pressure for y'all and it allows for less melt downs!​​​​​​​​
