✨Instagram vs Reality✨
Having young kids can make photos difficult at times and as a parent that can become very frustrating..obviously I understand. I went in to take photos for my daughters birthday with hopes of a few sibling and family photos too. I walked away with about 1 “nearly perfect” family photo and that’s okay for the about 5 minutes we were able to snap these. The imperfect photos are a depiction of our life in the era we are in and I will still cherish them too, even with a toddler who didn’t want to smile and couldn’t keep his hair perfect or stay barefoot, or a baby who wouldn’t smile or even keep her hands out of her mouth, or my failure to remove my watch and the screen being on.
Don’t let the stage of your life with small kids keep you from getting photos taken because I can promise you in all the sessions I have done we still walk away with plenty of “perfect” photos while also getting tons of photos that perfectly capture your life as it is and you will love those just as much if not more than the “perfect” ones.

Another Friday night spent under the lights.

One of my favorite parts of fall is all the football. My family and I have spent most of our nights this fall watching my little brother play each week and can’t wait to continue to support the Wildcats as they finish up their last regular season game and move into the playoffs.

Thankful to have a brother willing to go with my crazy ideas and brave the chilly water to create some amazing shots.

🌻 Sunflowers are up North of Vinton. They are only up for a couple of weeks so make sure to message me asap to get your session booked. Sunflower mini sessions (20 minutes $60) or full sessions (1 hour $150) with the sunflowers as one of the session locations. I have availability this weekend to book as well as many week nights!

Introducing the new crew member, Paisley Mae!
For anyone who doesn’t already know my husband, son, and I welcomed our little girl about 4 weeks ago. We had a great birth and have settled into life with two kids pretty seamlessly besides our 2 year already being sick 2 times already🙃
With all of that being said I am back to taking photos! I will now be open to scheduling going forward! Message me so we can set up your session time.
.side note, why is it that my own child gave me the most difficulties out of any newborn I’ve photographed so far.
