My girls 💕 I try to get my camera out for them at least once a season. I have the tools and the skills needed to do this and yet it still feels hard to make time and keep up. But then I look at these and think, this took 10 minutes at a park and I will keep this forever. Their laughter, their poses, their dance moves, their personalities. Nothing makes me smile like documenting these little lives and nothing makes me tear up like seeing how fast they grow. So I will just have to keep making the time to freeze it. - thoughts from a mom photographer

Smiley newborn, sleepy newborn, or scrunchy newborn? 👶🏻 My favorite time of a newborn session is in these quiet moments. White noise in the background, a blanket backdrop, a few posing pillows, gentle movements, and capturing all their different expressions and tiny details. A newborn photographer’s happy place.

A post to celebrate the first day in two months that I’ve been fully caught up on editing! 🎉 It’s been a great spring season, capturing all the families, bumps, milestones, and baby announcements with pastels, blossoms, and fresh greens. If I didn’t have such awful allergies, it might be my favorite season. 🤧

Horizontal highlights from a very special newborn shoot 💙 This sweet boy is the newest addition to my extended family! I took these photos filled with so much love and excitement. My cousin and I grew up together and have seen each other in every season of life. But seeing her thrive in motherhood, sharing all the highs and lows of it with her, and see our kids grow together just might be my favorite. (Swipe to the end to see the new cousin crew). 🥰

Despite this weird cold snap, I swear spring is here and I have mini sessions lined up next weekend ready to capture it! There are just a few spots left and these make a great Mother’s Day present. 🤗

A few edits from Disney 2026 ✨

I keep saying we can’t make Disney an annual thing and then we keep going back every year 🫣 I swear I’ll be better next year (maybe). It’s just a whole lot of fun for this 90s kid who loves the mix of childhood nostalgia and seeing the magic through her girls’s eyes. Highlights this time include my 5 year insisting we go on Tower of Terror not fully understanding what she was agreeing to, the nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom, and seeing which characters Avery fully embraced or cautiously approached.

It always feels a little scary to shoot outside when nature is cold and dying, but I really do love finding the beauty in every season. This maternity session was shot on a cold day at the end of December. We moved a lot both to stay warm and keep this little boy engaged and smiling. Like most everyone, I am ready for spring, but I also love the softness of the backdrop here, and the deep purple tones in her dress that pairs so well with it. Winter gets a bad rap, but it should never stop you from capturing a milestone moment. Life happens in every season and I will be ready to capture it. 🤗

Ryan finally got her snow day! She’s been asking me when it will snow since her first sighting of a Christmas decoration (probably back in October) and every day since Christmas it’s been, “Mom, Christmas is over, but we didn’t get snow?! It’s supposed to snow!” So Saturday morning, we jumped up and down while we watched snow fall. Then Sunday, we bought a few plastic saucers, drove until we found just enough snow to play in and a park with hills to go sledding down. It was a first for all four of us and I really couldn’t tell you who had more fun. ☃️
