I found these Tamarack trees so fascinating. We don't have any deciduous conifers in my area, so the fact that this needle and pine cone bearing tree was not an evergreen and turned a beautiful yellow in the fall was blowing my mind a bit.

I think it might finally feel autumn-y enough for me to enjoy posting these pictures from our trip to Vermont last year! The landscape and architecture were absolutely beautiful, and I loved going on little adventures with my husband and mom. We did some touristy things interspersed with general hiking and hanging out. I'm so thankful we had the opportunity to go with Momma on her dream vacation. :)

Happy first day of summer!!!

I realized after the Father's Day post that I never shared pictures from this precious in-home newborn session last fall. Baby C. was so wide-eyed and just taking in her new world! I had so much fun and am so thankful these special friends allowed me into their home to capture their season as a new family of three. 🩷

P.S. All of their pictures were taken on or right beside the master bed in this apartment bedroom. You don't have to have a perfectly manicured space to get beautiful images from your in-home session!
