Now booking for 2026, 2027, & 2028 Welcome friends! So, what are you waiting for?

I am Rose Lee, a Southern Illinois based photographer who relocated from Central Missouri. I am a light chaser, a creator, a dog and a girl mom, and an overall bubbly human being! When I am not shooting or creating, I love spending time with my family, swinging on my porch swing, listening to K-Love, or stuffing my face with Chipotle! I consider myself very lucky for having a father who was mesmer

ized by photography and because of that, it helped me find my passion very early on in life. I truly pride myself in being an all-natural light photographer! This means that I love chasing the sunset just to get the perfect light. I love being able to do what makes me happy and in return making others happy as well. The goal in each of my sessions will be to show off your true smile! You will always find me smiling or laughing. I am very blessed with some of the most amazing friends and family to help me along on this journey. Some of them are even helpful enough to model and support my sometimes crazy ideas. My goal for each and every session is that everyone has a comfortable and fun experience. You name it, I have probably photographed it. My most favorite genres to photograph or my niche as us photographers like to say is Seniors, Couples, and Weddings! Let's start shooting!!!

T H E - K I N G - W E D D I N G | A Sweet Southern Illinois “I Do”

Some wedding days are grand and elaborate…and then there are wedding days like this one—intimate, joyful, comfortable, and so completely centered around the people who matter most. 🤍

The King Wedding was one of those days that simply felt like home.

The day began tucked away in the coziest little country cabin, where everyone got ready without the hustle and bustle that sometimes comes with a wedding morning. There was laughter, makeup, boots being pulled on, a few happy tears, and all those little in-between moments I love getting to photograph. It was relaxed. It was comfortable. And it was the perfect beginning to their day.

Then it was time to head to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, the sweetest little country church, where the bride and groom exchanged their vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. No enormous crowd was needed—just a tiny church filled with a whole lot of love. 💒

And can we talk about this little family?!

Their little girl was absolutely precious, the bride was STUNNING, and her groom cleaned up pretty darn handsome himself. 😉 Between the gorgeous lace gown, cowboy boots and blue jeans, beautiful blue dresses, and those incredible pops of color in the bouquets, their entire day felt perfectly them.

And apparently someone else thought the portraits needed a little something extra… 🐾😂

Enter: the cutest golden retriever photobomber EVER, who casually wandered over and plopped himself right down at the bride and groom's feet as if to say, “Yep. This seems like a good spot. Carry on.”

Sir, you were not on my shot list…but you absolutely made the gallery. 😂🤍

After the “I do’s,” the celebration moved to Hog’s Hill Winery, and what a gorgeous setting it was for their reception! From the beautiful centerpieces and decorated cake to the delicious grub and all the little details that made the space feel warm and inviting, it was the perfect place to celebrate the brand-new Mr. & Mrs. King. 🍰🌸

And celebrate they DID.

Once the sun went down, this sweet, laid-back wedding turned into one heck of a party. 😂🙌

The music was up, the dance floor was full, and glow-in-the-dark wands were waving through the air until some of them quite literally couldn't take the party anymore and broke. 🤣

They danced until the music stopped.

They laughed.

They celebrated.

And they soaked up every last minute of a day that was never about putting on a show—it was simply about getting married, being surrounded by their people, and having one heck of a good time doing it.

And really…isn't that what a wedding day should be? 🤍

Mr. & Mrs. King, thank you for allowing Rose Lee Photography to be there to tell the story of your day. From that cozy little cabin, to your tiny country church, to golden-hour portraits and one unforgettable party at the winery—it was an absolute joy to capture it all.

Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, country roads, unexpected photobombers, and dancing together long after the glow sticks break. 🥂💍✨

Tell me below: are you Team Big Wedding or Team Intimate Wedding? 👇 Because these intimate wedding days have a special little piece of my heart.

G A B R I E L L E | Class of 2026 Senior

There are some places that hold a whole childhood inside them. 🤍

For the second half of Gabrielle’s summer senior session, we traded dry land for bare feet, warm lake water, and a whole lot of splashing—and I can’t think of a more perfect place to capture this season of her life.

Being on a lake has been part of Gabrielle’s story for as long as she can remember.

Summers spent swimming until she was waterlogged. ☀️
Fishing. 🎣
Tubing behind the boat. 🌊
Long days hanging out on Papa’s boat.
And all those ordinary little summer moments that somehow become the memories you wish you could bottle up and keep forever.

And now, here she is.

A Class of 2026 senior, standing in the same type of water where so many pieces of her childhood happened. 🥹

We started sweet and pretty…and naturally ended with splashing, playing in the water, a soaking wet dress, and plenty of laughter. 😂 And THAT is exactly what I want senior sessions to feel like.

Your senior portraits don’t have to happen somewhere simply because it’s beautiful.

Choose the lake you grew up swimming in.
Your grandparents’ farm.
The field behind your childhood home.
The downtown street you’ve walked a hundred times.
The place that already feels like you.

Because someday, the location in your senior pictures may mean just as much as the person standing in them. 🤍

Gabrielle, I hope when you look at these years from now, you don’t just remember your senior summer. I hope you remember all the summers that came before it, too. 🌊☀️

And yes…if we're already getting in the lake, you KNOW I'm going to tell you to splash the camera. 😂💦

So, Class of 2027 seniors — where is the place that holds a piece of YOUR childhood? Tell me below. 👇 Maybe that’s exactly where your senior session belongs.

Jordyn + Dylan | Engagement Session 🌼

Some sessions are beautiful.

And then some feel like you accidentally wandered right into a scene from a movie. ✨

Jordyn and Dylan’s engagement session was one of those.

We started tucked among the daffodils, surrounded by what felt like a sea of tiny yellow blooms glowing in the evening light. And I couldn’t help but think of Big Fish — that dreamy daffodil scene that feels a little magical, a little romantic, and almost too pretty to be real. 🌼

But what made this session so sweet wasn’t just the setting.

It was them.

The way Dylan pulled Jordyn close. The way she looked up at him. The little laughs between poses. The forehead touches, the kisses, the hand holding... and all those moments when I could simply let them forget about the camera and enjoy being together.

And then we chased the last of the light into the golden grass. 🤎

They walked. They laughed. They frolicked. They danced around. There may have been a dramatic dip or two. 😉 And for those last few minutes, it really felt like they were just out there soaking in this season of their lives together.

Engaged. In love. And somewhere between the daffodils and that golden sunset, making memories they'll get to tell someday.

Jordyn + Dylan, thank you for letting me capture this little piece of your story. I have a feeling the best chapters are still ahead. 🤍

Tell me — are you choosing the dreamy daffodil field 🌼 or the golden sunset field 🌅 for your own engagement session?

FACEBOOK — THE CARVER WEDDING

THE CARVER WEDDING | A little bit of love & a whole lot of PARTY

When you think about weddings, you naturally think about a celebration—and let me tell you, the Carver wedding was exactly that.

Not just a beautiful wedding day. Not just a ceremony and some pretty pictures.

This was a PARTY. 😂

They tucked themselves away in an intimate cabin in the woods, surrounded by their closest family and friends, and created the sweetest laid-back country wedding that felt completely and unapologetically them.

The guys kicked off the day playing pool and creating special bourbons while they got ready. The bride shared some of those quiet, irreplaceable moments with her two daughters—helping Mom into her shoes, fixing her veil, and being right there beside her before she walked down the aisle.

Then they said I do beneath the trees, surrounded by the people who mattered most.

And after that?

Well... the Carvers knew how to celebrate.

The kids—and even a few adults—made good use of the pool to escape that end-of-summer heat. There was laughter everywhere, drinks were flowing, the dance floor stayed busy, and at one point the wedding dress literally got CUT because it was just too dang hot. 😂✂️

Now that is commitment to the party.

And somewhere in between all of the craziness, laughter, dancing, swimming, and celebrating were these beautiful little reminders of what the entire day was really about:

Two people who found their person.
Two families becoming one.
And a whole group of people who couldn't have been happier to celebrate right alongside them.

The Carver wedding wasn't about perfection.

It was about people. Love. Family. Laughter. And having one heck of a good time.

And those are exactly the kinds of wedding days I LOVE getting to document.

Mr. & Mrs. Carver, thank you for allowing Rose Lee Photography to be there for the quiet moments, the beautiful ones, the hilarious ones, and every wonderfully chaotic moment in between.

Because a party was indeed had. 🥂😂

And I am so thankful I got to capture the proof. 🤍

Today is all about celebrating our loyal companions, our biggest cheerleaders, our cuddle buddies, and the ones who somehow always know when we need a little extra love. 🐶💕

Now it's YOUR turn to join the fun! 👇

🐾 Let's play a little Dog Day game!

Tell us in the comments...

1. What was the name of your VERY FIRST dog?

2. What is your favorite dog breed?

3. If you got another dog tomorrow, what would you name it?

4. What's the perfect number of dogs to own?
(There's no wrong answer... although we know some of you are going to say "ALL OF THEM!" 😂)

5. Bonus Question: Show us your pup! Drop a picture of your furry best friend in the comments. We would LOVE to see them!

At Rose Lee Photography, we know our pets aren't "just dogs"—they're family. They greet us with wagging tails after long days, make us laugh with their goofy personalities, and love us unconditionally through every season of life. Those moments are worth celebrating... and capturing. 🐾📷

🏆 FIRST PLACE LOOKS GOOD ON YOU, VHS DANCE TEAM!

What an incredible time it was cheering on the 2026 Vienna High School Dance Team at competition this past winter! These talented dancers poured countless hours into practices, perfecting every routine, supporting one another, and leaving everything they had on the floor.

A special shoutout goes to Gabrielle and Destiny, who both represented Vienna with beautiful solo performances. It takes courage to step onto the floor alone, and both dancers performed with confidence, grace, and heart.

And then... 🎉

The VHS Dance Team brought home 1st Place in Pom!

What an amazing way to kick off the competition season! Every smile, every count, every turn, and every high-energy performance paid off.

As their photographer, I absolutely love capturing these moments—not just the trophies, but the friendships, determination, and memories that will last long after the season ends.

Congratulations, ladies! Keep working hard, keep dancing your hearts out, and keep on bringing those trophies home. I can't wait to see what the next upcoming season has in store for you!

💙 Way to make Vienna proud!

⚡ Some school bands play songs... Iron Talon created an experience. ⚡

There are performances that entertain, and then there are performances that become part of a school's story.

Watching Iron Talon, Vienna High School's incredible student rock band, throughout the 2025–2026 school year was one of those experiences.

From pep rallies to special events and finally rocking the 2025 VHS Homecoming Dance, these six talented musicians poured their hearts into every performance.

🎤 Gabi – Lead Vocalist
🎤 Bailey – Backup Vocalist
🎹🎸 Sean – Keyboard & Rhythm Guitar
🎸 Reed – Lead Guitar (or as I like to call him... the Shredder! )
🎶 Luke – Drums
🎸 Mason – Bass Guitar

Their chemistry on stage was effortless. The energy they brought was contagious. Every note, every solo, every beat had the crowd cheering, singing along, and filling the dance floor.

But what stood out to me even more than the music was the support surrounding them.

The entire Vienna High School community showed up for these students in a way that felt straight out of a movie. Teachers, classmates, parents, and alumni rallied behind them, creating an atmosphere where these young musicians could truly shine.

As Gabrielle's mother and photographer, it was incredibly special watching one of my very own girls own that stage with confidence, passion, and heart. Seeing these six students grow into performers over the course of the year has been such a privilege.

Thank you, Iron Talon, for letting me capture your final performances together. I have no doubt this won't be the last time we hear your names.

Keep chasing the music.
Keep chasing the dream.

And never stop rocking. ❤️

✨ Vienna High School Homecoming 2026 ✨

Homecoming is so much more than dressing up... it's the excitement leading up to the dance, the laughter with friends, the sweet moments shared with someone special, and memories that will be talked about long after graduation.

This year was extra special for me because I had the privilege of photographing my own senior, Gabrielle, alongside her boyfriend Mason. ❤️

Watching Gabrielle serve as Mistress of Ceremonies during her senior year was one of those proud mom moments I'll never forget. She carried herself with confidence, grace, and that beautiful smile that lights up every room.

From romantic portraits before the dance, to hilarious moments with friends, to a dance floor packed with energy, this Homecoming was one for the books!

And can we give a huge shoutout to DJ Bradley?! 🎧🔥 He absolutely kept the party going all night long! The dance floor was never empty, and the energy in the room was incredible. If you were there, you know exactly what I'm talking about!

Thank you to everyone who allowed me to capture these memories. Nights like these are gone in the blink of an eye, but photographs allow us to relive them for years to come.

Congratulations to all of the Vienna Eagles who made Homecoming 2026 such an unforgettable celebration! 💙

Which photo is your favorite? Tag yourself, your friends, and someone you danced the night away with!

❤️🎄 Sometimes love has a way of making even the coldest winter days feel warm.

When I think back on Sydnie and Vernon's engagement session, I don't remember the chilly temperatures...

I remember the way they looked at each other.

The way they smiled without even trying.

The laughter that filled every quiet moment.

The gentle forehead touches, the hand squeezes, the stolen kisses, and the way they naturally fit together as if the rest of the world had disappeared.

Surrounded by twinkling Christmas decorations, festive wreaths, cozy little porches, and a glowing winter sunset, these two turned an ordinary cold afternoon into something that felt straight out of a Christmas love story.

It wasn't the decorations that made this session magical.

It was them.

Their love brought the warmth.

Their joy brought the light.

Their kindness made every photograph feel effortless.

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is watching couples forget the camera is even there. Somewhere between walking hand in hand, stealing kisses on a front porch, laughing under the winter sun, and simply enjoying being together, that's exactly what happened.

Those are always my favorite moments to capture.

The real ones.

The unposed ones.

The ones that tell the story of who you are together.

Sydnie and Vernon, thank you for trusting me to preserve this sweet chapter of your journey. I hope years from now you'll look back at these images and remember more than the beautiful decorations or the chilly afternoon—I hope you'll remember how completely in love you were in this season of life.

Your wedding day is getting closer, and if this engagement session is any indication, it's going to be absolutely beautiful. 🎄❤️

Congratulations again on your engagement! I cannot wait to celebrate alongside you and capture the next chapter of your forever.

✨ Love has a funny way of making winter feel like spring... and these two proved exactly that.
