Did you grow up with a dad like this? Always behind the video camera. Always recording every family event, school sports games, school musicals and family vacations. I was lucky enough to have a dad that captured it all! (And a mom who took 10's of thousands of photos of us kids growing up!)

Won’t you be my neighbor?

In the late 1970s, Hollywood studios Universal and Disney challenged Sony over its Betamax video recorder. They argued that people using VCRs to record copyrighted television programs at home could violate copyright law, and that Sony could be held responsible for making the technology possible.

One unexpected voice in support of home recording was Fred Rogers, creator of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. Rogers testified that he had no objection to families recording his program for noncommercial use. He believed VCRs provided a useful service by allowing parents to record children's shows and watch them together at a more suitable time.

In 1984, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in Sony's favor. The Court found that recording television at home to watch later, known as "time-shifting," could be legitimate fair use. Rogers' testimony was specifically quoted in the Court's decision as an example of a copyright owner who welcomed home recording.

Our price for this service will be $20 for every minute of footage that you want upscaled (that would average 8 hours of computing power per minute!)

We go a step further than others companies and edit your home movies so each event on your tape is a different file on the flash drive. We do our best to keep everything in chronological order, so you can more easily find the exact memory you want to watch.
