Being apart of the Black Women with Cameras exhibit for my first gallery showing is such a dream come true. The opening was an amazing night filled with so much support from family and friends. Thank you to .justice and for the opportunity to be in this show with other amazing photographers. This is my first but not my last show, this is only the first step to hopefully many more opportunities.

I’ve been a little quiet on this page but I’ve been working away. Spring is here and that means softball is back! The oldest niece is the starting freshman pitcher for her high school varsity softball team! I’m excited to get back outside for spring! During the winter I worked with the Motor City Rockers hockey team and learned so much and had a great time!

A few of my “favorites” of 2023. This year I’ve felt the most confident in my creative abilities I’ve ever felt. I’m so grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had this year, the things I’ve learned, and all of the creative connections I’ve made. I’m going into 2024 with a new fire for growing, learning and making even more new opportunities! 💪🏾🔥

Diversifying my sports photography with a little golf session with a friend. I’ve never shot golf before, but I think I got some good results and learned a lot.

Spent sometime last Sunday watching and photographing some great softball at the Summer Shootout tournament. I love the details of sport. The uniforms, the equipment, the way an athlete’s hands or feet are positioned. All the details tell a story of a player, of a team and of the sport. I even got a chance to get a few shots of a couple baseball games at the same facility.
