The last guest of our Weatherford College CNFR Qualifiers Series is none other than Hunter Helton. Hunter overcame adversity this season and fought to the very end to make his first trip to Casper! We got to chat about the journey to his first qualification and his plan for competing on college rodeo’s biggest stage, the College National Finals Rodeo.

Mitchie Story is making his first trip to the CNFR after finishing the season as the Lonestar Region Reserve Champion Saddle Bronc Rider. Mitchie is a humble, but fierce competitor that is already making wakes in the pro rodeo world on top of his college rodeo accomplishments. Enjoyed getting to catch up with him and learn a little more about the mindset he has going into the biggest stage of college rodeo!

With two main goals in mind, to win the Lonestar Region and win the CNFR, Jett Stewart and Beldon Cox are well on their way to crushing those goals. The Lonestar Region Champs were able to meet with me and discuss this past season and their game plan going into the College National Finals.
