“Hello, weary traveler…” pt 2

What was once birdsong becomes a chorus of grief and fury. Thick black ink weeps from her eyes. It streams down her face as she sings louder, no longer beautiful but ancient and wrathful.

The water begins to move & creatures of the dark swamp emerge.
And while the swamp claims another, the siren stands among the reeds, singing not of love, but of every wound, every betrayal, every rage the forest remembers. 🖤🌿🐊✨

🌸 A SMALL BUT IMPORTANT PRIVACY UPDATE🌸
Moving forward, AstraLore will no longer publicly share photographs that clearly show children's faces.
In light of the recent court ruling and continued concerns surrounding children's privacy online, l've decided to make this a standard practice within my business. While I already very seldomly share images of children, I feel this is an important boundary to have in place.
This will not change what families receive. Children can still be photographed as part of sessions, weddings, elopements, or other special moments, and those images will still be included in the final gallery.
If I choose to share an image publicly, the child's face will be turned away, hidden, cropped, covered with a or otherwise unidentifiable.
As a mom foremost & a survivor of csa this is heavy on my heart.
When your children are in front of my camera, I will do everything in my power to protect them and their privacy. I promise to care for yours and love them as if they were my own.
At the end of the day, no photograph I could post is more important than protecting a child's privacy.
