Some sessions just feel extra special, and this sweet baby girl’s arrival was one of them 🤍

This weekend I had the joy of photographing the Owen's family as they welcomed their beautiful new baby girl, Paighton. She is truly a little doll—so peaceful, so precious, and already so deeply loved.

Paighton was surrounded by so much love in the studio with her mommy, Sindi, daddy, Justin, big sister Olivia, and big brother Ezra. Watching them together was the sweetest reminder of what these early days are all about—tiny details, growing bonds, and a brand new chapter unfolding right in front of you.

We captured so many tender moments between the whole family, along with the soft, timeless portraits of Paighton all on her own. Every image feels like a little piece of their story.

Hey y’all! 💙

Look what popped up… my very first little bluebonnet! 🌿✨ Yes—just one lonely bloom… but I’m choosing to see it as a very hopeful beginning!

It’s right out by our old car at the studio, which makes it feel extra special. For years, my hubby and I have tried (and tried again 😄) to get a real bluebonnet patch going for photos, so seeing even one bloom feels like a sweet little win.

Maybe next year she’ll bring friends… and we’ll finally get that dreamy patch we’ve been imagining for all our spring sessions. 💛

For now, I’m just excited to watch it grow and enjoy this tiny bit of Texas magic right here at home. 🌾📸

There’s just something about outdoor magic that never gets old 💚

This sweet little one was photographed in one of our favorite Specialty Photography set designs — a hollowed log prop paired with our adorable frog newborn hat for the most precious woodland-inspired look. One image captures the full cozy setup, and the other zooms in on those perfect little facial features we all melt over.

I love creating these outdoor-style newborn sets that feel like a little storybook moment brought to life right here in the studio. They have that timeless, earthy charm that parents always seem to fall in love with year after year.

One of my favorite things about newborn photography is creating images that tell your family's story.

✨ Sneak Peek ✨

Yesterday, I had the honor of welcoming the sweetest little lady, Elizabeth, into the studio for her newborn session, and she was an absolute dream! 💕 From the moment we started, she cuddled perfectly into every setup and truly rocked her entire session.

Elizabeth brought along her proud Mommy and Daddy, Aubrey and Travis, and her beautiful big sister, Makayla. One of my favorite parts of every newborn session is capturing those first family portraits together and preserving all of those precious connections—the tiny details, the loving glances, and the sweet snuggles that make this season so special.

Her session was filled with beautiful pinks, soft yellows, lovely purples, and whimsical wildflowers. Everything came together so beautifully! 🌸🌼💜 Mom also brought several special keepsakes created just for Elizabeth, adding meaningful touches that made her session even more unique and priceless.

These are the moments that become treasured family heirlooms, and I am so grateful to have been trusted to preserve them.
